Do You Use A PC? You Should Check Out Soluto
If you are a PC user, like I am, than you are quite familiar with what happens to your computer as you add more software over time. Turning on your computer takes forever as program after program launches on startup. In the past, you always had to go in and hack your way through the startup services, hopefully deactivating the ones that were giving you trouble (ie: taking the most time to launch). That sounds like a good idea but I'm somewhat concerned about what info it's grabbing (the registry?) to share, and what assurance I have that personal info isn't accidentally made public. I think until I know more about what it's sharing and whether or not that process is taking up resources, I'll stick with the old fashioned method of picking through by hand and optimizing that way.
